The story
Visit San Donato is the result of a long process of enhancing and promoting the San Donato Val di Comino area and its rich tourism offerings. This project is rooted in the history of local tourism communication and has evolved over time, adapting to changes and new technologies.
1930s
The origins of tourism promotion in San Donato Val di Comino date back to the 1930s, thanks to the work of Luigi Cucchi, photographer and journalist for the Giornale d'Italia, whose images helped raise awareness of the area's beauty.
1997
San Donato Val di Comino was one of the first towns in Southern Lazio to leverage the internet for tourism promotion. Thanks to the Psiche e Aurora association and the commitment of Luca Leone, sandonatovaldicomino.com was born, along with an internet point for easy access.
1998
Again thanks to Luca Leone, then president of the Pro Loco, tourist information boards were installed in the historic center, creating a true urban hiking trail. That same year, the town hosted Bevilacqua di Sereno Variabile, a popular television program.
2004
Recognition of the quality of San Donato Val di Comino's tourism offerings came with the awarding of the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club.
2009
The first Facebook page dedicated to tourism in the country is launched, thanks to the vision of Omar Cugini and Samuele Tocci. Over the past 12 months, the page has garnered 4 million views.
Today
The evolution of all this: a rebranding project that, thanks to Alessio Pellegrini's expertise, enhances history, culture, nature, food and wine, and authentic experiences in an integrated and innovative way.

Our mission is simple: to enhance the riches and potential of our region through innovative initiatives and projects.
We promote awareness of the San Donato area and its environmental, cultural, and tourism attractions through trade shows, workshops, educational tours, and marketing initiatives in Italy and abroad.
We collaborate with public institutions and private operators to provide international media and tour operators with up-to-date data and comprehensive assistance, useful information, and curiosities for discovering the area and enjoying a relaxing holiday.
