The project
The San Donato Creator Experience is a call for content creators promoted by Visit San Donato Val di Comino: a weekend of discovery and content production during the FAI Autumn Days. The goal is to promote San Donato Val di Comino and the Comino Valley through true stories, created in collaboration with the operators who welcome visitors every day.
We ask you to bring your own personal perspective: you'll wander through the alleys and buildings open for the occasion, meet the village's hosts and cooks, and create content designed for your community. This isn't a course or a school: it's a local experience.
The FAI Autumn Days
This is the weekend when the FAI – Italian Environment Fund – opens up often-littered heritage sites to the public. This call is an initiative of Visit San Donato Val di Comino and is not organized by the FAI; visits follow the program and access conditions established for the days.

Who are we looking for?
We don't require a minimum number of followers: what matters is the quality of the story and the affinity with the local area.
Travel and local stories, for those looking for their next destination.
History, architecture, traditions, and people of small towns.
Typical products, wines and those who preserve them.
Hospitality, stays and pace of those who choose to stay.
The call is also open to international creators. In your application, please indicate the language of your content, your country of origin, and your availability to travel to San Donato Val di Comino.
How the selection takes place
Fill out the form or email [email protected] with the requested information.
We examine the portfolio, audience, and narrative proposal of each application.
We contact the selected profiles to check availability and details.
Each selected creator participates on one day: Saturday or Sunday.
The required contents
You can create a single video that captures the entire day in a single story, or multiple videos, one for each strand. Format, length, and delivery times will be agreed upon with the selected creators.

Strand 2
The welcome, the spaces, and the people of the facility that hosts you.
Strand 3
Typical products, wines, and the gestures of those who present them during the evening tasting.
You can create a single video about the day, or multiple videos per strand, and deliver the files to Visit San Donato Val di Comino.
Any publications on your channels are defined in the agreement.
The video, or one of the videos, may be published in collaboration with the Visit San Donato Val di Comino profiles and partners, according to agreements.
The channels, duration, and terms of use of the content are established in writing in the agreed license.
If your community speaks another language, you can offer content in your own language; any Italian or English subtitles will be agreed upon.

What to tell: Architectural details, the guide's voice, the stories of the open spaces.

Tasting at Rosso Cantina Enogastronomica and convivial evening
What to talk about: Products, wines, people, and your personal impressions.
Indicative program, subject to opening hours and partner availability. Lunch and dinner are not included. Accommodation: Check-in Saturday and check-out Sunday, or check-in Sunday and check-out Monday.

Profiles published with the consent of the creators, with the assigned day
Block to be completed after selection: for each creator, authorized portrait, name, social profile and day (Saturday or Sunday).
The contents created
Block to be completed after the event: each video linked to the creator and partner. Any results must be published with the source and measurement period.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can international creators apply?
Yes. The call is open to Italian and international creators: please indicate in your application the language of your content, your country of origin, and your availability to travel to the destination.
When can I apply?
Applications close on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM (Italian time).
Do you participate in one or both days?
Each selected creator participates on one day. Selecting "both dates" in the form only gives you flexibility in assigning.
What does the press tour include?
The press tour includes accommodation (check-in Saturday and check-out Sunday, or check-in Sunday and check-out Monday), a visit with FAI delegates, and a tasting of typical products and local wines. Accommodation and services are agreed upon with the selected creators.
Are travel and transfers covered?
We offer round-trip transportation from Cassino train station. Other travel arrangements are agreed upon with the selected creators.
Are lunch and dinner included?
No, lunch and dinner are not included. An evening tasting at Rosso Cantina Enogastronomica is offered.
What is the language of the activities?
Activities take place locally with local guides and operators. The language of the tour and any English-speaking assistance are to be agreed upon with the organizer.
How much content is required?
It can be a single video that captures the entire day in a single storytelling, or multiple videos, one for each theme. Format, length, and delivery: agreed upon with the selected creators.
Is professional support provided?
Yes: a photographer and videographer will assist you with preparation, filming, and editing, before, during, and after the event. Times and methods are agreed upon with the selected creators.
Is publication also required?
Any publications on your profiles and in collaboration with partners are defined in the agreement.
How are videos used?
Visit San Donato Val di Comino and its partners may reuse the content according to the license established in writing: subjects, channels, duration and modifications.
Are institutional interviews planned?
Yes, it is possible to conduct video interviews with local institutional representatives, by appointment to be confirmed with the organization.
How are the results communicated?
We will contact the selected candidates via email after the applications close.
Are there any accessibility needs?
Yes: please indicate them in the logistics notes or email [email protected]. We'll discuss possible solutions together.
Press trips
For ordinary press travel requests, the procedure remains valid with at least 30 working days' notice.
